Our TMT Bar sizes range from 8mm to 32mm and are rolled for high strength applications — ideal for dams, bridges, high-rise buildings, and any critical structure where high yield strength is required without compromising on elongation.

As per IS 1786:2008. Sizes 8mm to 32mm available. Tolerance on nominal mass ranges from ±3% to ±7% depending on size.
A short, intensive but very precise Thermo-mechanical treatment (TMT) with in-line water quenching of the hot rolled bar is imparted in the Thermex® process, resulting in a hardened periphery. This Quenching and Self Tempering (QST) technology is sourced from H&K, India, licensee of THERMEX TECHNOLOGY developed by HSE, Germany.
On further cooling on the Automatic Cooling Bed, a thermal exchange occurs between the core and the cooled outside martensite surface, resulting in a distinct tempered martensite periphery and a fine grained ferrite-pearlite core.
Higher thermal stability retains most of its strength at higher temperatures caused by fire hazards, providing extra time for evacuation.
Batch to batch consistency and uniform sectional weight per unit minimizes steel wastage, even for small quantity purchases.
Carbon equivalent maintained below 0.42% ensures excellent weldability with no pre- or post-welding treatment required.
Advanced quenching toughens the surface while the core remains soft, resisting cracking during bending for RCC construction.
Closer sectional weight tolerance as per BIS code ensures higher metrage per unit weight compared to ordinary rebar.
High tensile strength and exceptional ductility make our TMT bars an ideal choice for earthquake-resistant construction.
